Wild Tiger was released in October to extremely high demand with little to no availability. It was sort of like the launch of the Wii, but in Figuart form. Barnaby's released showed that Bandai has learned NOTHING. Barnaby was released to just as much demand with just as little of availability. The preorders for Sky High that just went up on Tuesday show that Bandai still hasn't learned anything. Tiger & Bunny collectors are in for a wild ride. Those in North America can only hope that Bluefin can pick up the slack that the Japan side has created. Anyway, Barnaby is Tiger's partner in the show, and the Bunny portion of the title. He's the rookie hero who just arrived in the business, and is already showing up everyone in their own game. Barnaby is a standard release that retails for ¥4,500 on average.

Not that they are limited... the thing is folks in Japan would get a hold of the wind to order them first (being ahead of us in time zone has it's advantages) and by the time we wake up, it's gone. And truthfully, the popularity of Tiger&Bunny really took the industry by surprise so they didn't make enough of the first production. And by the time the second production wave comes around, everyone is looking for it... thus lowers your chances of getting one even more! That's why it's "rare".

I pretty much get my S.H. from BBT or my local comic shop since they have a wholesale account with Hobby Link Japan. I still have a ton of S.H. stuff that haven't been shipped to me yet from BBT only because I want my Pile of Loot shipped in December.
