Test vid to see how badly youtube can mangle this awesome game.
For those interested:
music is saeglopur by sigur ros
pc is stock q6600 G0, 4gb 800mhz ram, 8800gtx, wd raptor on xp32
settings are modified high/v high @ 1024*768
fps with fraps is ~20-40
fps without fraps running is ~30-65
cpu and cpu tests both average 50fps

I have the original crysis atm, and i suppose im more interested in performance rather than quality. Low graphics is a bit bad i admit, but at a medium level, i would prefer. Hopefully medium settings will have decent performance on 8800GTX

get crysis warhead instead, you will max that out @ 30fps apparently

q6600 OC to 3.4 - 4GB ram Win Vista Ultimate 32. Raid 0 drives @14400 rpm.. still get 10 or less fps on 1440x900 all setting maxed out. we need a $20,000 PC to play this game correctly :)lol

no, u just need to get a graphics card ;) they cost alot less than $20k, i'm thinking $500 max

well you can see my specs there. since the 1.2 patch and newest drivers i have changed my res up one notch and it plays similarly
