  • Oh my gosh, I love this so much! It is interesting to hear the different versions, such as Luka, Gakupo, and Rin and Len.

  • Never heard this version of the song before! I like it. :) I have to admit, I was expecting the S&G version, though. ^^;

    As for the herbs, they all used to have meanings, like flowers still do. So when they mention the herbs, they're really invoking the meanings of the herbs. I was told that:

    parsley - taking away bitterness

    sage - strength

    rosemary - faithfulness

    thyme - courage

  • Nevertheless, the fact that my favourite Vocaloids are singing in ENGLISH (barely), and from what I can tell, by a JAPANESE person, my faith in the world has been restored. Hallelujah!

  • @LittleMissMimic I'm not too sure about the herb nonsense, but I REALLY didn't know that Miku had an English voice bank! What a crappyVvocaloid fan I am.

  • Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high. At least, from a Simon & Garfunkel fan.

  • @Razzlyify this song is an ancestor of the more familiar versions of scarborough fair :) forms of this song go back for centuries. it is amazing that someone, particularly a Japanese person, knew of it and liked it enough to such a good job with non english speaking Vocaloids.

  • @adaje5 I think they meant tune wise. When I saw Scarborough Fair, I was excited, thinking I could sing along but the tune is different from the one I heard many times. Don't take me wrong, this sounds lovely but there seems to be a large variety of different lyrics and tunes.

  • what's with the parsley sage, rosemary, and thyme?

    Rin and Len. Almost speaking english! I hope they get an english voicebank like miku

  • Me (watching video): What a pretty song. I'm glad it has subtitles so I could understand it

    Me (after videos is done, and looks at top comments): ....wait...THIS IS IN ENGLISH?! O_O

    Did this happen to anyone else?
