Something I wrote some time ago as a tribute to my favorite guitarist -it's called 'Ry's Land'.
Most people say it reminds them of the 'Paris, Texas' soundtrack.

Nice but raise the strings and mute the strings behind the slide......you'll get rid of the crunching sounds if you do these things.

nice! but you should think about raising the strings, just to avoid slide-touching strings to frets.
