I think, Kate Beckinsale`s best ever performance was in EMMA. I am so taken by the fact how she naturally takes you back to Jane Austen`s world. She nails that period accent and mannerism so well. On the contrary, watching Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightley in it is a complete disaster. That girl seriously needs elocution lessons just like Cheryl Cole. lol

@Randymarcelo there is no similarity between kate and taylor swift. kate is a mature sophisticated sweet beautiful actress whereas taylor swift is a snobbish stuck up singer who only appeals to teeny-boppers. that's like trying to compare a piece of cake to a small packet of mustard. there are no similarities whatsoever between kate and taylor swift.

Underworld is great, even though it doesn't show her full potential as an actor. The ability to change her accent to whatever she needs to is unbelievable though, much like Van Helsing and Click.. This woman's talent is a Godsend, simply put.
