This is a grappling / Jiu-Jitsu / Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique that involves passing an opponent's guard by standing up and walking through it. It can be done both gi and no-gi. Recorded at the U.S. Martial Arts Academy (USMAA) near Cincinnati, Ohio. Demonstrated by Russell Daniels, assisted by Travis Shoemaker, recorded/edited by Ron Cole. http://www.usmaa.net
looks bit sloppy and dangerous. You can get your back taken if your opponent is any good

@tapmeharder yeah i never really found a exact defense for this i just muscled out of it by keeping head control for as long as i can then as soon as he stood id grab a leg and tried to force a cradle hold then id let go of the head and scramble for a single leg and sometimes I end up on top or back in the guard. Someone should post a counter video lol.

@Randomkungfu I just keep pulling and pushing and use their hands on my head to pull me over to mount. It works almost every time for me.

So what's the defense?, my sparring partner uses this constantly, it is very annoying...

I just started jiu jitsu and I'm going to try this today. This pass looks dyn-o-mite.
