    My name is Jerome Johns although back when I met Roby I was also known as "Brother Johns" he and I did a concert together in the Winston Salem area of N.C. we were both Christian recording artist I was also a Christina D.J. a KCFO Tulsa Ok. I played his Music all the time I loved his blue eyed soul and amazing talent on his instruments. I was socked to find he has passed over into Glory. we will meet.

  • I have been singing this song since it came out.  It is written out of a heart of love for the lost and love for God. Does anyone know the TUNING he is using? Thanks, Rick

  • The song, "Promised Land" was written when he was only 20 years old and recorded by MCA records when he was 22. I saw him back in 1983 in Grand Junction Colorado and he was a big influence in my life through his music. I bought a tape that night and still have it today.Now he's on my Ipod and can't get enough of his album, " Relaxed Fits." Thanks for sharing this video.
