Why is it , that when America is drowning in this economic tsunami, we (it's citizens) are'nt getting any relief? I'm sorry about the 200k Haitians that have perished but their deaths were surely quicker than the slow death of the American workforce that this bastard economy has brought about. Where is our aid and our leader's compassion for those here in this country who've been forced out of their homes because of greedy bankers and corrupt financiers?

The priorities are so very fucked-up.

It was just a short time ago that we actually had a sitting president who failed to come to the aid of American citizens until thousands of lives was lost! Wow, I'm so glad we got rid of that guy and replaced him with a president who can tauk, reed adn rite!

Well, the good news is that we now actually have a president who can give a speech and not look like an ignorant jerk in front of the whole world. That's a start. It's scary to think what George Bush or Dick Cheney would have done. Even worse Sara Palin! "I can see Haiti from my bed room."
