This show rocked. I stayed up the nights this ran on my local PBS station and begged for more when the series ended. I'm suprized it's not on DVD and more so that A&E or BBC America hasn't ran it again. Well...here's hoping.

I actually think it's wonderful and fits the dramatic framework of the main character - a man perpetually haunted by the memory of a lost love.

First off, don't call Justin Hayward's music terrible. He was mostly known for Nights In White Satin and the Moody Blues. For doing a theme song when he's a pop star, that's not half bad.....

I remember watching this on our local PBS affiliate here in Seattle back in the late '90s. The think that I liked most about the show is that they didn't rely on aliens or strange space phenomena for the conflict. The main protagonist in each episode was human nature.

PBS aired the show I think around 7 years ago, I used to watch it when I was little. I loved it!

Man, I'm going to have to track this down in some form or another. Many years ago I acquired the title song, thinking it was to a japanese animation series. I never guessed it could be a British live action show.
I'm going to have to track down a copy of the shows, somehow. The title sequence with that music is haunting me.

Terrible theme music did not help.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one dude. BBCA got compromised by annoying U.S. media standards to show irritable commercial breaks during British programs in which like PBS, BBC in the UK hardly does that there unless that has been changed.
just watched a documentry about starcops on bbc4, im gonna have to get the dvds

You are lucky because the DVDs are only available outside of the United States. I wish BBC America would either rerun it here or release a US version on DVD, which is why I posted this in hope of stirring interest.
