Ice Storm 2009

January 28-29 2009 Historic Ice Storm

I was out of power for 2 weeks.
It was horrible.
And, to some of you, this may be nothing, but this is the South people, where we get maybe only 6-8 inches of snow per winter, if were lucky. This is nothing we have ever seen for our area. So, if you have a comment dealing with the fact that this is nothing compared to where you live or what you have seen, keep it to yourself. This is something, to most southerners, I know.
This was filmed in Arkansas.
Oh an btw, as I type this, I am getting a huge snow storm! 8 inches so far and its still going!=D What a winter it has been!

Did you get off school? The power was out for 2 weeks... did you get off school for 2 weeks?! That would be awesome! And the last time there was a big ice storm where I live was when I was 5!

Yea, we got out of school 4 two weeks but now we don't get a spring break or any other break!='(

wow dont feel bad in baltimore we got 8 ft of snow in 4 days we had no power for about a month the water was always cold and i hate cold showers we couldent get outside it was just horrible and when the door unfrose we had to did out the whole block just so people could get to the farm store and get food it was so horrible :(
