Many years later believe it or not she sang background for FRANKIE and ANNETTE when they toured in the very late 80's. Why Dodie didn't have more hits than she did remains a bit of a mystery. Sometimes, it's just a matter of the right song matched up with the right artist and the right producer. There isn't an recording artist out there who can discount the "luck" factor either.

Before YouTube, I only knew Dodie as the "...Pink Shoelaces.." girl. After listening to this and a lot of other posts featuring her great voice, I must say that I don't know how this girl only had one (!!) top 50 hit in her career. Thanks much for posting this.
