Thank You for a look at the 4th Generation

Nice review on the Glock 22 gen 4. I just picked one up and what a nice looking gun. Shooting this gun was even more impressive. A target range of 7 yards showed very tight hits. The interchangeable backstraps are the best thing going for this gun. Good Job!

Does the dual spring really make a difference in minimizing recoil?

I was really impressed with the improvements in feel, fit and finish with the 4th generation series across the board, but especially for the G 22. I have held the 3rd generation G 17 and G 22 and I didn't like the feel in my hands. The G 19 and G 23 fit me fine, but I wanted a Glock in full size. Well, the 4th generation is it for me. It is worth it!

good review man.. no bs. annway i just bought my 23 gen 4 .and its good.. i still dont like the way they fit the hand. but its a warrior so im not mad.

i have never gad a problem with the grip of my glock why would they change that i have no clue what they need to address is the slide stop after a few 100 round you need to lift up on the slide stop with a screw driver and then your done untell it stops working again.

@TacticalChubby yes the mags are still compatible from generation 1 to 4 but the problem comes if you change the mag release from right hand to left hand then you will have to get mags that are designed for left hand and thes going from right to left hand makes all other glock mags useless.

@Andy9742 and a very bad copy at that.

I think the changeable grips on the Glock 22 4th gen is a copy from the Smith & Wesson M&P.

@Gunfreak513 I could really feel that it was lighter after that, and it feels just like the Gen 3 ( I think it's probably the same exact weight pull).
-
@Gunfreak513 Hi, while im not the poster I can answer this for you. I haven't hear of this problem with the .40 cal glocks, but the Glock 17 9mm's, some people have reported this happening. If you decide to buy a 9mm gen 4 and have problems. Strip the slide down and look a the recoil spring. If you can't find a stamped "2" on it anywhere, just call glock and they will send you a new one, which is much lighter. I didn't have problems with mine but I called and got a new one anywaise.

video is to blurry can't see any of the detail...
slide serrations don't look like what I have seen on other 4th generations.
