Experts predict that India will become a global superpower within 50 years - thanks to its economic growth and young population.
Despite this, India remains one of the poorest countries with a 35% illiteracy rate.
Access to healthcare, reliable power, and clean water are also in desperate short supply.
Could these gaps prevent India from achieving what finally seems within its grasp ?

Forget about this obsession of super power status. How about lifting the majority of people out of property first ? How about investing in the infrastructure of the country ? How about fighting corruption and ineffective and inefficient government bureaucracy ? How about implementing policies that really helps the people ?

unlikely people just see the rich side of india india is very smart on the videos they allow because every show in india is normally the extreme wealthy side but when we get a bbc documentry it normally shows the poor side that we dont get to see, it is still a very very poor country and i dont think it can and the ammount of money the country has and the population isnt realy helping

India becoming a Superpower may not be a dream, but surely is not as easy as we seem to be claiming. India is second most populous country in the world.

China Forex 2.65 Trillion India 300 Billion

China GDP 5.75 Trillion India 1.43 Trillion.

China Per Capita 1100 US$ India 530 US$

As an Indian I also want that India becomes Superpower but not by words and slogans.

It is a must to be an Economic Superpower first.

There has to be a massive change in the Political scene before anything else.
