Macondo - Spain - Neruda Productions.

Macondo is a collaboration of six musicians in the Waterloo Region who came together to share their passion for Jazz and world music. These musicians are: Johnny Chapman (bass) , Brian Voll (piano), Ben Graffam (drums), Julio Lopez (Electric Guitarra), Oscar bornacelli (Percussion) & Nicolas Vargas (saxophone). Each musician brings his own flair and experience to the overall fusion of musical styles that make up Macondo. The band has been developed under Neruda Productions for Arts and Culture. Each performer has had significant experience performing in multiple ensembles and in varied settings.With experiences and musical inspirations ranging from all fields, Macondo is an inspirational story of young emerging artists coming together from different parts of the world, and a musical delight that needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated.
