Bobby & Jean Paul- Unintended Love

My idea was quite simply to put Jean Paul into the movie verse. The plot is simply as follows:

Bobby saves a teenage mutant, Jean Paul, from being beaten up and brings him back to the mansion. Jean Paul becomes a student too and they get closer, eventually falling for one another, as Bobby's relationship with Rogue breaks down.

in the comics does Northstar have a boyfriend? I never read about Northstar in the comics but I read a little bit about him on the internet and I like him from what I read but can somebody tell me what his personality is like?

@Clarkkent408 He's been in several of the different xmen comics, in one of them he has a secret crush on Iceman but he never admits to it, in another, Ultimate Xmen, I believe he dates Colossus (Peter/Piotr).

@MrJeanPaulBeaubier sorry only just saw this. I'm absolutely fine with it, some one else is also doing their own fic version of it though they haven't finished it. So long as I get some sort of mention/credit for the intial idea of course ;) and you send me a link to the finished thing, the world needs more Bobby/JP fic!

@Clarkkent408 No, Northstar fell for Bobby but Bobby didn't even realise Northstar was gay (he was basically the only one in the world who didn't know). Bobby was painfully oblivious

@Clarkkent408 Yes... unfortunately it's not Bobby (I blame the change of writers of the comics... Bobby and Jean-Paul were so close to becoming canon all those years ago); JP's boyfriend is some African-American guy named Kyle... There was a mini-comic in Utopia about them. Kyle was originally hired to be Jean-Paul's organizer-something or other.
