The Super Mario Movie - Paper Rad - NES

This is the legendary Super Mario Movie made by Cory Arcangel from 2005(back when YouTube was still new). He made this from an unmodified graphics rom of the game "Super Mario Brothers" for NES, and turned it into what you see in the clip above.

It was one of the best concepts of PAPER RAD you could find. Luckily, you could download & watch this on an emulator. I recorded this one from my Hypercam using JNES(my NES emulator). I will be honest, but I LOVE PAPER RAD...especially Ben Jones for making music, fashion, & art like this the 2000s equivalent to how grunge/Kurt Cobain was in the 1990s.

For a Pittsburgh, PA/Providence, RI based "multi-genre", Paper Rad would be everything for those who still play Atari 2600, NES, SNES, classic arcade games, & nerdcore music to this day.

I would best define Paper Rad to be a cross between "emo", "scene", "nerdcore", & "techno" with a bit of "hipster" overtones fused with whatever came from an NES between the years 1985(ie. Super Mario Brothers) to 1994(Wario's Woods).

This is not really a playthrough as it is a movie that I thought would be best. If anything, Cory Arcangel deserves the credit for making this rom happen, and the same for Ben Jones & the gang of Paper Rad.

Also, I LOVE THE PROBLEM SOLVERZ...therefore, I love Paper Rad.
