@SkittlezInzanity That's kinda interesting. That's almost opposite to our Western Culture and English. I tell many people that I love them, and I do: friends, family, friends that are pretty much family, in-laws I'm trying to bond with... But I think I would only sincerely say "I cherish you" to one person: My husband. Now, I'm sure that will change when we have kids, and I cherish them, but it still strikes me as odd.

Actually, since Vulcans aren't exactly comfortable with public displays of affection, the proper phrase is, "Taluhk nash-veh k'dular." which translates into, "I cherish thee." It is the only declaration of love between bondmates that is accepted by Vulcan society.
