with these speaker pins, if they were inserted wrong pins in wrong hole ?

would this cause the radio to play , but with very low audi output?

I replaced a electorlytic in my addison modell b44 console radio and when i put it all back together it recieves but the audio is very low.. could this be my problem?

I just noticed than two pins are smaller han the other two..

Would sure save me a big hassle if this was the situation.

There is a number of possibles. There is a field coil and a audio primary, so if it is right no problem. If not you could have low or no sound, and possibly damaging the speaker.

ok i still have sound but the aodio is just low.. so ill check this before i proceed with anything else. thanks

all i did was replace an electrolytic, and put the radio back in the cabinet and plugged in the speaker and the audi was very low. good thing i noticed the pins on the schematc..

Don't know if the 90B is bigger I will have to check on it. If all you need it a re-cone you can probably find a local audio store to re-cone it for you. That is what I do. But if you need the field coil rewound then you would need to send it off. I will find the information and send it to you. Thanks.

BEAUTIFUL PHILCO! that's a 90, I think the bigger model is the 90B right? Where can one send a speaker to get repaired anyway? I have an Emerson BF-something or other with a speaker that's seen better days, the cone is very brittle. still plays fine, but that speaker isn't going to last much longer...
