true i agree.. I dont think it's more of deveolping it, than it is to really activate it and stirring it up..
Talents are cultivated and developed, but gifts are given (like a christmas or a bday gift)
all you need to do is use it.

A person can have a GIFT to play a instrument. However that person will NEVER be good at that gift UNLESS it is developed.
A gift is LIKE a BABY'S TEETH.....the teeth must be DEVELOPED to be used properly

i met a woman in a restaurang and we and my friend started to talk with her. She spoke to us from God. and I sing, and she said that god will give me songs and that I have a special strength that I have to pray that i get a prophetic gift. It was amazing..

It was the Apostle Paul who said to seek after Spiritual Gifts and especially prophecy.
If you think back to the parable of the talents God gave but expected what He had been given have been developed.
Its His way.
