How to draw LightSaber and simply shadow in MS Paint

I want to show U how to do this easy shadow in MS Paint :D... By the way I drew a light saber :P... I'm a layman :)

lightsaber blades are made of light.. they don't cast shadows..

i think its because the light saber casts a "shadow" not shadow the hedgedhog
