Rally at Senator Bill Nelson office for Health Care Reform Support

At the rally in front of Senator Bill Nelsons office, in Coral Gables, I told the crowd "I am in receipt of a letter dated July 13, 2009, from Senator Nelson, in reply to our request of support of a strong Public Option, of May 29, 2009. "
On his letter He stated "I am working toward reforms that would make health insurance available to all Americans through an insurance exchange and would provide subsidies to those who cannot afford coverage.
We agreed about entering to his office to let him know, through his Senior Staff, Laura I. Fatovic, Regional Director, that his position falls short of President Obama request for a Public Health Care sysem that would provides Health Insurance to all Americans, based on the 3 core principles:
1. Low cost insurance
2. Freedom of Choice of Plan and doctors and
3. Availability of quality Health Care insurance for all American.
To this Laura I. Fatovic stated, without elaborating, that Senator Bill Nelson was deeply committed to his constituency and that his position on this issue has changed since them.

Bill, please don't vote for this. Don't believe the hype that healthcare can best be run by the government. We need more choices. Looka t Massachusetts. They have over 1300 insurance companies and almost 99% participation rate.
