After 5 phone calls to Comcast's Customer Service department, and being disconnect 5 separate times, I thought I'd record my experience. Comcast didn't let me down.

  • @MrAldoggy100 :Comcast does not block ports? Hmm.. you ever heard of Net Neutrality or how Comcast was caught blocking P2Ps, Aries, among others. They are also known to seriously throttle their speed. I am a Network Engineer and work in this field. As soon as FiOS got available, I dropped Comcast like a stinky Epic Deuce. Do a little research before opening your loud mouth proving the world what an idiot you're.

  • well...if you could do all of that while you wait for the automatic menu to xfer you to someone,us at the call centers would be really happy and give you a good experience :D

    Im not annoyed but we have to do that automatic thing again when you need a specific dep and you are xfer to the wrong one...yeah i guess everything has to change within the call center and specially the so call "training" ¬¬ sometimes people dont really know what they are doing..

  • Tom, You're my hero. I have the same issues constantly. By now I know all the prompts, messages and customer service personnel intimately!!!

    My biggest problem right now is that Comcast blocks some of the constant contact messages including the ones from my own company which I cant receive!!! ...besides getting the same message from Comcast about not being able to access my email.

    If there was an option in my area of Chicago I would run!!
