Well of course it works..but why should we have to perform these endless 'workarounds'.
No pro can work with this, too much missing, so many keyboard strokes and mouse operations . Slow and archaic. Pros use programable edit controllers. I have not used JKL/I/O keyboard taps or drop down menus for years. But hey, typically British not to complain, that's why they get poor service and awful food.
BTW QT has had a px aspect ratio bug for some time, depends on the native file, DVCPRO, HDV etc.

@byt4byt Well I didn't say I wasn't complaining. I actually like FCPX but agree there is still a lot that needs to be addressed, just thought I would share this workaround for now. Oh, hey, believe it or not I also agree about poor service and awful food but we British people complain in a different way - they just don't go again! Hence why our economy is rubbish right now. Only the places with good service and food will eventually survive.

This tutorial is worthless! FCP does NOT send the proper information for iDVD to recognize for maintaining 16:9 aspect ratio. If your project is in 4:3 you're ok, although 4:3 is Dead. Solution - Learn compressor and DVD Studio Pro. You can not only author your DVD but you can ADD your chapter markers there and skip the GarageBand step.
