@samtee14 Just tried setting the ISO to Lo ,3 and changing the mode to 'M'.. still a little fuzzy. Hmmmm... though I do not have the right settiings set for my DSLR, it's very frustrating since I don't even know how I try "fixing" the settings.. Hmmm. I don't think it's a defective camera either...

Amazing quality... I just bought the camera two days ago. When I'm recording video, how come it turns out so poor? It's has this "noise" effect or fuzzy I should say.. I already changed the resolution to 720p. The quality isn't no where good as yours - any tips? What mode should I set it on, when I try to record vids? thx

@galizien88 u have too shoot at the lowest possible ISO... and also you need a low light lens so that the camera doesn't automatically adjust the iso to high numbers to compensate... i bet if u shoot at a place where theres plenty of light, the video comes out noiseless

@samtee14 Thanks! Is there any specific mode I should set it on? (Auto, P, M, A) etc...

@galizien88 ideally M for most control... but A would do the job... the d5000 isn't very controllable in video mode..

that looks fantastic! I have the Canon Rebel T2i and it also looks unbelievable, changes my video quality completely. Yours is incredibly sharp!

@BitchMank This was all because of the lens.. i used a 50mm f1.8 lens so the depth of field was relatively "insane"
