Between windows, mac, and linux, I have to choose linux. The whole thing is amazing, its open source, you can override file executions with one simple makefile, its basically re-writing a game to your needs. Simple + Flexible, and since I work with coding, ubuntu can program for mac, windows, and linux.
But for gaming... I switch to windows, the mac i use for video editing.

add some RAM the DVD player takes up alot of RAM so it cant decide what to do and goes into a kernal panic. (or at least thats my theory)
and i get a panic because (what the computer log says) my graphics chip is failing, do i just need an upgrade and if so where can i get that upgrade!

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the new X3100 GMA intel graphic chip. not sure if it's failing (Apple Hardware Test didn't find anything.)
Also, my MacBook has 4GB of RAM, so I'm good on that end too.
