@happytobeproud I was born in 89' so I missed all these toys, but in the late 90's they brought them all back but without the cartoon and I'm hear to tell you that this particular toy was probably 50-60 bucks even. You were one very lucky kid. Kids these days have jumping ball pits, the internet, and RC flying toys, so yea I wish I was them or you.

With a vehicle like that Cobra should have just nuked the G. i. Joe compound. Ended it right then and there.

LMAO!!! Dude I was the same. I would also constantly look through the toy section of the macys catalog over and over again. THis was one of my Christmas gifts back in 86. Come think of it, I think my main christmas gift from 1983 to 1986 was GIJOE.

Man, in the weeks leading up to xmas, I'd sit and watch the cartoons every morning before school just hoping they'd run this commercial. I still remember the stupid jingle. Good times.
