look, al has potential, but frankly kevin durant averaged just under 20 ppg. hes the 1st rookie player to come near that mark since lebron james. youu know who else did that? mj and wes unfield, who won the mvp that year. look, im not saying he has that kind of talent, but he has a much, much higher ceiling than horford. it's like comparing tonynkukoc to mj. saying this as a cavs fan.

The difference between Horford and Durant is this: Although he was robbed of that award, he didn't need it in reality because he and the Hawks knew already that he was rookie of the year. Some players need an award to prove it to themselves......others don't.
