do you really hate MarineLand or are you joking? I went there and I thought it was cool. It's the largest Beluga tank I've seen. It was about 4 million gallons.

@AquaTeal334 Okay, I've seen The Cove and I was rather disgusted with the way they stretched details to other parts of the world. Like they said that the captures on Taiji shipp their dolphins to all over the world and the map they showed showed ALL the world, but from my own personal research and searching through captive dolphin databases, no Taiji dolphins are in the US and most, if not all, the Taiji dolphins ended up in Southeast Asian aquariums.

@waterlizardz123 Thats not how it works, Marine Land paid the captureres to hunt down the pod of belugas in Russia, capture and take them to this hell. To capture marine mammals, they must slaughter a few first, so the rest stick around, they are very social and have tight family bonds, so if one is bleeding to death or being held hostage, they will not leave until that one is set free. Watch the Cove and get educated, for your own good, your opinions are horribly un true..

Not to be down on MarineLand, but all aquariums aren't natural. If you take animals from the wild, away from their loving families and freedom, then put them in a barren concrete tank, that is cruel. Whales and dolphins faces are shaped to always looks like they are smiling, its not because they are happy. Ric O Barry once said " The dolphin's smile is natures greatest deception ". Ric O Barry was correct. cute song though....

Yay! Captured animals living, one on top of the other, in a sterile, featureless, artificial environment that's a fraction the size of their wild habitat!

Russian belugas have plenty to feed on and very, VERY few are hunted. More die due to live captures and in captivity than do from subsistance whaling.
