I hear ya, I would never have heard Yonder Mountain String Band at Bonnaroo had I not been waiting for Jack Johnson back in 05'. IM SOOOOOO pissed I missed Old Crow. I didnt fall in absolute love with then until after Bonnaroo. I kill myself for not knowing about them while i was there.

they were a good surprize, i'd never heard of them and it's not generally my style of music. but i got myself real close for regina spektor, and i'm glad these guy's performed before hand. great show.

I have had so many great experiences on this field in my beautiful home state of Tennessee but this show was one of the better ones I've seen. I fell in love with these guys that day and just can't put them down! Oh and a few people below me gave some Yonder Mountain String Band love...I am here to tell ya that if you haven't seen/heard this band you are truly missing out on one of the great acts in music!

that looks at floyd fest (more commonly know as hippie fest [its a blue grass/world music knock off of woodstock]) but i know its not cuz theres and athority figure that seems to actually doing something useful in this concert

This was 10 months ago, before the Peal Jam - Metallica ticket.

In comparison to the Radiohead - Petty - Nicks headliners; do you still hold by this statement?

Don't get me wrong; I kind of agree on the jam bands - but I enjoy them; in moderation. This last line-up, for headliners, was worthless.

It was much better a few years ago, it isn't all about the music, it was the experience. Now it's a bunch of Guidos and Wannabe hippies.

bonnaroo is a festival that's getting better every year, i'm glad that there aren't as many jam bands.

anyway, old crow was one of my favorite shows this year
