Mr. Kelly is absolutely right, the American martial arts community has become such a scam over the last decade or two! Someone I once trained with promoted his 8 year old daughter to black belt, totally ridiculous!
I see all these schools offering these pre-test, board breaking, and tournament “camps” and “workshops” and charging $24-50 a piece, total scam! I know school owners have the right to earn a living, but most of these “special” events are just total rip offs.

This IS SIBOK TOM KELLY. I was with him here when this film was made (Nov. '07) in Renaca, Chile.

David Hebler was the first to be promoted to 7th Mr. Kelly always forgets that. LOL I have a new respect for Mr. Kelly for talking about this and stating the truth! this is the reality of rank in the Kenpo System today, very very sad. Mr. Kelly I salute you!!!
