@JoeysTheMan54 I see your prices for "fixing" the mosin-nagant. It's funny because let's be honest, The mosin-nagant isn't even $100USD. (Well.. around here it isn't.)

I have two MN's and for the life of me can not engage the safety on one of them. I can on the other fine, but on the other one, forget it. I have cleaned it and can pull it back, but not shift it to the left. Any ideas???

@tacoman375 there are a few mods but general NO. for a 100 year old technology it rocks. it is hard to compare to modern weapons, it is like night and day. the funny part is they are so good that they do get compared to modern weapons..

I just purchased a Mosin Nagant M91/30 and it seems my extractor is quite stiff. Is this normal? Because of the stiffness I really have to jam the bolt forward to get it to catch the round and seat properly. Is this normal? Any suggestions? Any help you could give would be awsome, thanks.

I have not had that problem on any of mine. You might try installing another extractor.
TNGUNS(dot)com has mosin parts for sale. a complete bolt is $35 They also sell small bolt pieces.
