the blue demon on passtime game show 2009 @ z-maxx dragway concord n.c. Thanks to Darrell Cox Racing for all the help on the car.owner/driver Josh Carpenter of the blue demon 98 dodge neon r/t 4 door, with a 2.0 liter dohc stage 3r turbo. The track was cold and the right lane was not used nor preped that day because they ran left lane all day untill the combo passes which was 1 every 2-4 hours. The pass sucked but i found out after that pass my waste gate was leaking by which i was loseing boost that day.

i got a 98 neon sport 4door DOHC thats been bored .20 over and has some headers i got her to run low 14s but i want to get it faster but dont know what to buy i am building it on my own any advice.

Hey josh when i first bought my neon. I started looking at the world's fastest neon's. Yours is one of the top 3 I've came across. Also how did u get Darrell to build you such a bad ass race car. I'm fixing to buy another neon 2dr DOHC Motor. How much did it cost you to build it to where it is today.

@YouStoleIt thanks man, welp it took a long time and alot of money. not sure of a price tag but i just bought 1 thing at time. Darrell Cox has built every world record holding neon.right now mine is the fastest 1st gen i 4 door i can find. if you have a neon and want it fast get him to build the motor. money ? you can save alot by buying a neon already fixed up to save alot of money.mine is for sale.
