I think her voice is better now than when she was young. The life she has led has matured it and made it ideal for singing jazz

I love this song,. by her especially.... I grew up in the sixties and had a thing about her. She was so beautiful as well as being so talented.

When I first heard this song, it petrified me to the thought of domestic life. She could clean the house for hours. Sad how the drugs permanently altered her voice, yet it's her living reminder of the destruction she chose and survived. It's what it is. So much talent and so many bad choices, such an old song that so many didn't live through.

Even though altered, her voice, I think, is still phenomenal..

... mmmmm i did enjoy your 'tip' to listen to a more modern version, BUt this song and it s lyrics is an 'Of Your Own Times ' song...
and I guess that pulls me back to MF;s version, good to see a wonderful song survives so well though.
quality always counts.

i was a 'child of the 60's...lol..
I saw MF perform in o around 2006 ish... she was still superb...
