A Game Of Pinball

Finishing up restoration of a very rare "Rotation VIII" pinball game. Made by Bally/Midway in 1978, only a handful are known to exist.

The shop lights were making an annoying reflection on the glass. I guess next time I'll remember to turn them off.

So basically, There's a spinner in that machinery that spins the playing field to up, down, and left, right.

@Multi3DSlover Actually it just turns. The playfield is angled down towards the flippers at all times, like a normal pinball.

Beautiful machine, thanks for sharing. Please clarify for me. I assume it doesn't do multiplayer games or alternate between players. I assume if no one is playing, anyone sitting at the 4 positions can insert a coin and start a game and the table rotates to their position for them to play a full game. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@spazzman90 It does switch players automatically by rotating, if more than one person is playing. It will also allow a single player to sit in any position and play from that spot.

@kevinpeterson71 I'm not sure exactly how many, but it's a small number for a pinball game. I'd have to ask my boss, since he's the one who would know.
