The song is 'Γη κι Ουρανός' - Gi ki Ouranos (Earth and Heaven) by Peggy Zina (Πέγκυ Ζήνα).
Chalcedon (Χαλκηδών) is an ancient Greek city in Bithynia, the earlier of two sites used for colonies (the second being Byzantion across the Bosphorus).
Its importance as a Byzantine city was marked by the Council of Chalcedon in 451. Emperor Marcian invited Bishops across the Christian world to the 4th ecumenical council, to settle the issue of the humanity of Christ. The majority of Bishops agreed that Christ was perfect God and perfect Man, and the few who disagreed were called the Monophysites. This council caused the first great schism in Christianity, between Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox, based mostly in Egypt.
Chalcedon is now part of Turkey, which the Turks call Kadıköy.
