Fave VGM #083: "Dark Passage" ~ Stewart Copeland

Spyro the Dragon was one of the best franchises on the Playstation. It had immersive level design, enjoyable game mechanics (flying, charging etc.) and a great soundtrack composed by Stewart Copeland.

The Dark Passage is one of my favorite levels in the Dream Weavers realm. It had interesting level mechanics like invincible fools with laterns, dogs and turtles with metal shells which grow to monstrous sizes when in darkness, and well hidden secret routes.

{NOTE: Stewart Copeland is best known as the drummer from the band The Police. During the band's extended hiatus from the mid-1980s to 2007, he played in other bands and composed soundtracks to movies, TV shows, video games and operas.]
