Stephen improvises on Native American Flute at Maroon Bells in Colorado. The aspen are gold and the park is deserted. The flute is an aspen flute in d minor made by Butch Hall. Stephen's Native American Flute CDs are available at CDBaby.com. Downloads are available at many download sites including itTunes. Search on both Stephen Pearson and Steve Pearson. This song, "inspire", appears on his new meditation CD, "perchance", to be released soon.

  • Oftentimes a slow peaceful song in a minor key can be intepreted as being sad. However, I believe the sadness comes from within the listener and is not necessarily the intent of the music. The gentle wind that blows through the trees or the still water of a mountain lake are not sad. They are peaceful. There are times when a heavy metal band may be appropriate as they may rage with a broken heart against the backdrop of a peaceful mountain that they once knew. Thank you for your expression.

  • Nevermind prmass1. This is a beautiful piece for this video, as it truely captures the Native American heritage of the Colorado wilderness.

  • Who died? How about a heavy metal band playing at the foot of the mountain. This is sad.

  • very lovely
