I shan't humour people by saying they're talented when they're not. Perhaps they /could/ be talented in the future, but going out of the way to be nice and lie just misleads people and makes them think they're already good when they're not - risking them wasting their time and our sanity. Why lie and let them remain deluded, and possibly end up getting disappointed if they finally realise?
