@LosSkeltosMusic I agree, 100%. Fuck all these squares. They dont know what music is about. I mean what kind of douche draws literal comparisons from a song? Unlike you, music is multi-dementional "a song about a bunch of addicts standing in line at a methadone clinic gives you courage?" Fuck yes this song is encouraging, trying to analyse that response sounds like a task too hard for your pea brain to compute. So do us a favor and piss off!

Some days I wake up after sleeping for as long as I want, rather than as long as the rest of the world wants me to, slap this disc in the stereo - as opposed to some piece of shit MP4 player - hit this song and sing along at high volume while getting dressed. Then MY independence as MY own person is reassured, and I am inspired to do what I like with MY day.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this song is excellent for giving you the courage to go and fuck the world. Cheers, Elliott.

Unless it's something else from Elliott Smith, of course.
Satellite maybe. Alphabet Town. That kind of stuff. Songs that come straight from the gut.
A lot of people feel it, but there are few who can convey it through music or other forms of art.
