The Voice of A Viper

'Voice of A Viper' is a poem I wrote about the plight of venomous snakes (and really all other snakes) throughout the world. I mainly targeted it at the Rattlesnake Roundups that happen in New Mexico and Texas and all the negative stigma attached to snakes. Like all other creatures on this planet, I believe they deserve a fighting chance. What's being done to them breaks my heart and I will do everything in my power to stop it.

I love all kinds of reptiles and I have around 34 snakes myself mostly carpets, ball pythons and kingsnakes. Rattlesnake round ups need to banned all together. Our hobby is under attack reptile breeders are under attack from the media.

I couldn't agree more. I have four snakes myself on top of doing rescues. OUr hobby is in serious danger because of morons like the roundup participants and unmindful reptile owners who let their pets got once they're too big.  We need to stop the mass insanity.

Awesome video for an awesome poem. I am not crazy about the few pics of people freehandling the rattlesnakes. I don't want unknowledgable people trying the same thing with wild snakes and getting bit. I love and respect snakes and all reptiles so much. I loved seeing that some of the pics were from LCRR, I know Roy from a few other groups. :D

@holadriana Even though I love snakes, I also believe in God. Just because one tempted Adam and Eve doesn't mean all of them are responsible, besides, there are more stories of the devil who appears in the form of a rabid dog with red eyes and dogs are more likely to bite people. I'm glad you care too btw. : )

I love snakes so much I would rather get bitten by a cobra than see thousands of them and I mean THOUSANDS of them get tortured. I wish people would stop saying crappy things like KILL ALL SNAKES! They are pathetic morons who have no idea of what "FEAR" means.
