@jhazif Actually, the numerals came from the Hindus. People started making medicine already in prehistoric times. And in every other case of medicine thousands of years before Islam even came to be. Same goes for surgical instruments. And the roots of Islamic science drew primarily upon Iranian, Indian and Greek learning. And down along the road, the people of Islam became stagnant. If not for the west, and far-east.. Muslims would have remained centuries behind the rest.

@MetalicaFan2007 your right, without taking sides, in almost every way iran is 20 years behind the worlds most powerful example of military force. The hummer and vehicles like it are now obsolete in the US forces, now they drive buffalos, and other much larger vehicles that did what the hummer used to do. The new vehicles the US is fielding can run over a hummer like a monster truck. Its hard for me to understand why Iran seems to be so ready for a fight now, when they really need 20 years.
