hey man umm not sure where you are at... all i did was open the html file into dreamweaver and when you click on a slice you get the properties panel down the bottom (in CS3) type 0 in "boarder cell" then type your link in "link" cell then press enter.
That didn't work for me... or I don't understand what you're talking about. Man, dreamweaver is so frustrating! Adobe hasn't improved it AT ALL since MX4.

what type of meta data does using slices put into your html?
i'm going to find out myself when i start using them but i though tif someone knows the answer it'll save me a little bit of trial and error

I worked it out. You need to type "0" down the bottom of the page in Dreamweaver in the boarder cell, then press enter.
