All things considered, I respect Falconer more for admitting the program was hugely flawed.

I prefer a leader who understands how to brainstorm, has the bravery to propose solutions, takes the opinions of others into consideration, & upon finding his ideas to be lacking, is willing to admit fault and remove said idea.

Wow, you are pretty young to discredit what he is trying to do. He is the only mayoral candidate running on behalf of the taxpayers.... the only one that says he won't take a government pension. The only one that wants to reduce taxes with a viable plan. You should read his book before you judge. Your generation's future is dependant on people like him.

Falconer will say or do anything to get elected. Search "Matt Falconer monorail." and you'll see where he once proposed a monorail system. He's trying to keep that section hidden now, because his anti-sunrail stance is the new #1 plank of his platform.

I absolutely concede that I'd prefer a leader who understands the principles of Liberty as thoroughly, even more thoroughly than I do.

That said, what I mean to stress here is that I can appreciate that the only candidate for Orange County mayor who even comes close to my ideals is still learning. Not only is Falconer learning, he's learning fast & I appreciate that he took the logic of those around him, those further along in their understanding of Liberty, into consideration on this issue.

Oh, everyone - stop with the name calling. It gets everyone NO WHERE! Now, as for this kid...I am glad he is being dilligent. I think that the plan is flawed. This seems like a way out there proposition. I would be leery of anyone running for office that has so poorly thought out plans he brings to the public. Part of being Mayor is knowing what and when to bring things to the public forum. This guy is obviously just not qualified yet. What is his background?
