i have a bichon who 5 years old right now, but i would really like another one, does anyone if its good to have 2 bichons at such different ages, will they get along?

With the Bichon Frise generally having a great personality, they normally get on with all other dogs but especially other Bichons. However if introducing a puppy to an adult, be aware that the puppy will want to continue playing long after the older one has had enough......... so they will both need their own space to "retire" to.

@pitbike360 would always suggest to going to only look at those that are bred by people who show the breed (At Championship show level) Will usual ensure that you get a ver good example of the breed

My dog did 8 puppies they were all so cute i kept the one it easy white eith curly hair and a black eye patch of hair his name is tobe !!!

We have a Bichon Frise and he is 5 years old. We love him so much!! He is so much a part of our life. He is such a wonderful dog and everybody we know loves him. I can't even imagine the day if he were to leave us... I don't know how I would cope...he is our baby. I even have a hard time leaving him when we go on vacations and we get our friends to take care of him.

@942nick I had a 4 year old bichon when we got another little puppy bichon when i was in middle school. For the first few months/years the older one would get sort of jealous at times, no longer being the center of attention. But before we knew it they were BEST friends. I graduated from college a few years back and the older one died at the age of like 13 or 14. The little guy is still around and misses his bro a ton. I think you should get another one, they'll end up being boyss

So cute! My boyfriend's mom breeds bichons. That's where I got mine. He got more attached to me than any of his five brothers. So I brought him home! He's now three months old and only five pounds. His name is Harvey, but I like to call him little man :)
