Spain is the first exporter of olive oil in the world and the spanish olive oil is the most famous in Europe.

@several commentors: Please do not forget that ALL olive oil producing countries CAN make great oil. And ... sadly, that there are frauds in each country as well. Sadly. See about Australia and Spain, also on 14/2/2012: There were similar scandals in Italy last year.

I learned in Italy, that real quality Extra Vergine producers are proud of their honest products. Surely this goes for Spanish, Australian ones and others. Let us focus on their efforts and support them.
