How to Change Icons and Themes in Ubuntu 11.10 & 12.04

How to Customise Ubuntu 11.10 & 12.04 and Mint 12 with Changing Icon, Window, and GTK Themes.
In this Tutorial video I show you how to add Faenza, Zukini, and Mint themes from WebUpd8 repository, and also how to install any theme from website such as Gnome-Art or UbuntuThemes.org

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool
sudo apt-get install faenza-icon-theme faenza-icons-mono faenza-colors anewstart-theme anewstart-theme gnomishdark-theme mint-x-icons mint-x-icons zukini-theme

To Install Icons & Themes from the above websites:
Save tar.gz zip files to your Home folder
Press Alt+F2
Type "gksu nautilus"
Open the downloaded tar.gz zip files
Extract them to: /usr/share/icons
or /usr/share/themes

You don't need to reboot. Just Log off and on again.

It's much easier to install themes in Ubuntu 11.10 manually by simply going into your Home directory. Press ctrl+h, and all your hidden files will show. If you cant see the .themes folder, make it yourself by right clicking, make a new folder, and name it .themes - extract the theme in their. Much easier.
