I could tell you alot about Tomo. People just have no idea. How about this for an idea. I was #2 to Tomo for about 1.5-2 years, and I never beat him 1 GAME, EVER on CE, HF or Super. I NEVER BEAT HIM 1 GAME. He beat me 3-0 every single time, for years. Nobody compares to Tomo's skill in today's game, you have to see it to believe it. He lost to Mike 1x on CE. And before that I think 2x. You have to see it to believe it.

Is he better than Kuroda in 3rd strike or Daigo in SF4? I'm wondering if while he was the undisputed best at the time, fighting game technology--and the spread of information, thanks to the internet--would make the stuff he was doing back then look not-so-special today; also nostalgia and a desire for hero-worship has a way of recolouring peoples memories. Why is there absolutely no footage of this guy?

@lupinyonsei I don't see your point. He's just offering perspective on how good Tomo was. Even if what you said were true, which it isn't, being a top player is no laughing matter, and Jeff was just pointing out that Tomo was leagues beyond even the next best guy. The same thing that makes a .330 MLB hitter or a top hockey goalie etc. great is what made Tomo great. Reflexes and natural ability like that are rare. They can't be taught, not even to the japanese you seem to worship.
