Tanzania Peponi resort Dhow trip and Tanga bay

Out of all the beach places we have been holidaying at, This was the most enjoyable and relaxing beach holiday of all. The setting was really idylic and had the old rustic pioneer atmosphere, but had all the modern conveniences for our comfort. The video starts with a walk along the beach front and through the rock pools. We then took a trip out to the offshore sand island in Peponi's Dhow named "Pepi". Here we could snorkel amongst the pretty coral, and we also walked through the rock pools full of a variety of starfish and sea urchins. We finished up at the end of our stay having a drink at the Tanga Yaught Club overlooking the Tanga bay before getting a coach back to Mombasa. It is a shame that this video does not do full justice to Peponi resort, but it does give one an idea why we loved it there

I was there a couple of months ago. Tanzania is such an amazing country despite all its difficulties. This was a great way to end my trip. I know exactly what you mean about it being amazing. The sand island was incredible and we saw dolphins too!

i was in tanga in 1985 still has not changed, still got the boats i remember there. brings back good memories
