@ClassicRefuseTrucks what in action .

thats shit. McNelius beds rock

squealing noise is bits and pieces trapped between hopper floor and packer blade edges rubbing. The thin rams either side of the hopper push the folded assembly together with bags into the body. If you get to see a real close up you can see the packer yoke goes past the join between the hopper & body; when empty the top is only a foot or so away from the ejector blade
-
one of these will happily take a caravan or a car!
-
Can someone tell me what the squealing noise is as the blade comes down. What happens to the bags once they are scooped up?
-
WOW!!!!! I'm impressed!!! This is probably the only swing-pack rear loader that can put any swingpack RL or slide shoe model in their place!! Just look at the size of that blade. I like to see these RL packers in the US! even though I am a Leach2R RL guy!! 5 STARS!!!!!!!

in the back you have on the sides a tilt that kind of goes faceing inwards amagen your hand getting cought in that gap
-
hm.. i think geesink got better press of the load than other rearloader
This Vulture doesn't seem to trap garbage like the slide/sweep packers, especially the Heil Formula 5000. It is no fun having to clean out the hopper for servicing; I can assure you.

Been there and done that, and I mostly agree. However, the Heil 5000 is technically a swing-link packer..it so closely resembles slide-sweep designs that is sometimes lumped in with them.
I found the 5000 would trap/pass refuse between the upper panel and the bulkhead, but not that badly. I would just clean out anything up there while greasing the upper links. The leakage out the slots to the street was more of a nuisance, though the addition of trap boxes handles that on c.1989 & up models
