  • Well, since the Social Graph API only collects info on publicly viewable html tags, the "control" aspect is missing. Of course, that's only natural, since the idea is to help developers make applications that work on a variety of social networks; the networks themselves will remain as closed as their owners want them to be. They want you to use theirs, not theirs and everybody else's.
